I invite you to cooperate in the field of Evolutionary Optimization. Some of the main areas of eventual cooperation are as follows.
1. Single-, multi- and many-objective optimization. 2. The analysis of the dependencies between the optimized variables (also known as problem structure decomposition and/or linkage learning) and using this knowledge in evolutionary optimization. 3. Gray- and Black-box optimization. 4. Increasing effectiveness and efficiency of Evolutionary Algorithms, Genetic Algorithms, Genetic Programming, and Genetic Strategies. 5. The general development of Evolutionary Algorithms and techniques employed by these optimizers (e.g., linkage learning techniques or surrogate models). 6. Real-world applications including (but not limited to): 6.1. Evolutionary Machine Learning (also known as autoML), e.g., evolutionary optimization of Neural Networks. 6.2. Evolutionary optimization of computer networks (including optical networks) 6.3. Evolutionary design, 6.4. Evolutionary optimization of source code. 6.5. Evolutionary generation of problem-dedicated optimizers. 6.6. And much more…
Being a part of my team gives you an opportunity to run your research in cooperation with the best groups focused on evolutionary optimization in the world. For instance, you may cooperate with the researchers like Dirk Thierens, Peter Bosman, Darrell Whitley, Gabriela Ochoa, and Francisco Chicano.
As the Primary Investigator, I supervise a series of grants. Thus, you can receive an additional scholarship in these grants. There is also a possibility of commercial cooperation in projects that introduce Evolutionary Computation into the industry field.
