The research subject is related to multifunctional thin-film coatings deposited by PVD methods for transparent electronics - this includes magnetron sputtering and electron beam evaporation. Deposited thin films can be used, for example, in optoelectronics or gas sensors (for hydrogen, nitrogen oxides, ammonia etc.). My scientific research interests are also focused on gasochromic, thin film coatings, gas sensors, optical coatings, transparent oxide semiconductors TOSs and transparent conducting oxides TCOs. We have specialized equipment for thin film deposition, including several stations for magnetron sputtering and electron beam evaporation. As part of a broad characterization in our laboratories, we can use, among others: an AFM microscope, an optical microscope and profilometer, spectrophotometers in the range of 200-2500 nm, a current-voltage characterograph with a measurement station and a Faraday cage, an impedance analyzer, a nitrogen-helium cryostat for testing chromic effects, test stand for abrasion resistance, wettability, photocatalytic activity, Seebeck coefficient.
